Sam Every

Sam Every is an arranger, conductor, drummer and tuba player originally from Cornwall.  Since graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a jazz drummer in 2020, Sam has  gone on to make a significant name for himself in the music industry both on and offstage.

His own full jazz big band - The Sam Every Big Band - have sold out every one of their London club gigs, including nights at the world-renowned Pizza Express Jazz Club, Spice of Life Club, Toulouse Lautrec Club and the Milton Court Concert Hall. The band’s 2020 Christmas EP received a number of radio plays across BBC Radio, as well as being seen on ITV, Channel 4 and Sky TV as part of the “Funkin’ Cocktails” Christmas advert 2021.

Outside of his own projects, Sam has worked for the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Metropole Orkest and conducted the Purcell Symphony Orchestra at Watford Colleseum. He is also one of the in-house arrangers for the trombone quartet Bone-Afide.

As a performer, Sam has performed on a number of published albums and singles with his own projects and for artists like Voodoo Brass, Ned Moss, Gigi Williams and Echidna. As an orchestral percussion and tuba player, Sam has performed at venues like the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Symphony Hall in Birmingham and Queen Elizabeth Hall and has shared the stage with the London Jazz Orchestra, the Gareth Lockrane Big Band and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
