Corey Morris
Corey Morris is Principal Trumpet No. 3 of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and a graduate of the Royal Welsh College Of Music and Drama.
In addition to his work at the BBC, Corey performs extensively around the UK exploring vast and diverse musical repertoire, from legendary operas to sharing the stage with icons Shirley Bassey and Bonnie Tyler. He has performed regularly with Welsh National Opera, Opera North, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra-Resound.
Corey’s personal career highlights include a Gala Performance for King Charles III in the ballroom of Buckingham Palace, forming his own ensemble, Top Brass Trio, which you can hear regularly on BBC Radio 3 and Songs of Praise, and most recently a solo performance on Amazon Prime’s hit comedy series LOL: Last One Laughing.
On tour, Corey had enjoyed performing West End productions around the country, including as Deputy in Les Misérables and Matilda, and as Chair Holder for the new musical I Should Be So Lucky.
Corey’s recording catalogue incudes BBC’s Doctor Who, David Attenborough’s Planet Earth III, BBC’s Children in Need, Bradley Jayden Live in concert at Cadogan Hall and BBC Songs Of Praise with Katherine Jenkins and Russell Watson.
