Annette Cook (Matron)
Annette is our course matron, and will look after the children should any illness or mishap occur - and also will be around to enjoy their company when they are fit and healthy!
Annette is the matron at Purcell School, with responsibility for the general care and welfare of the boarders. Annette qualified in General and Mental Health Nursing and provides support for the School Nurse. Her later career has been spent in coordinating a private care company, and she has also been a school Governor overseeing Special Needs and Health and Safety. Annette has three adult sons, and lives in a flat on the ground floor of the accommodation in which the children attending on a residential basis will be staying.
Annette will be in the reception area each morning and evening in case you wish to discuss anything with her, and to ensure that any necessary medicine returns home with your child. She is much loved and appreciated for her excellent care of both the children and tutors during our courses!
