Pete Smith

Pete Smith Pete has been Principal Tuba of the Philharmonia Orchestra since 2008 and has worked with many other UK orchestras, including the London Sinfonietta and London Brass.

He was a pupil at Chetham’s School of Music and later studied at the Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of Patrick Harrild and Oren Marshall.  Pete has taught and given classes at the Royal College of Music and Trinity College of Music and tutored for the National Youth Orchestra.
